Microcure has recently upgraded its retractor hooks. The new retractor hook features a teardrop design, which increases the non-slip area and optimizes the structure and material of the clasp compared to the traditional marble retractor hook. The innovation of increasing the non-slip area ensures that the doctor can securely hold the retractor during the procedure and reduces slippage. The grip area of the new retractor hook has been calculated to increase by approximately 51%, providing the surgeon with greater operating comfort and stability. The new retractor hook has been upgraded with improved material and structure. The minimum wire diameter has been increased from 2.5mm to 3.0mm, making the hook more durable and capable of withstanding greater tension and pressure. This enhancement allows surgeons to use the hook with increased confidence during delicate operations. Furthermore, the retractor hook optimizes structural transitions, resulting in smoother transitions between its various parts. This reduces friction and resistance during surgery, improving surgical efficiency and minimizing patient discomfort. The test data indicates that the new retractor hooks can generally withstand a maximum force 1.5 times greater than before the upgrade in the event of a break. This means that the new hooks can maintain their stability and reliability, providing strong support to the surgeon during surgery, even in more complex situations. Overall, the upgrades to the retractor hooks not only improve the performance and safety of the surgical instruments but also provide the surgeon with a more reliable tool during surgery.
