Nacional Ossos, with its state-of-the-art technology, is always innovating and has a new highlighted product: the double density polyurethane femur (cortical and cancellous material) in different colors.

This polyurethane femur densities are well defined. The cortical is harder and the cancellous material is more trabeculated and less dense. The product also has an 8mm diameter medullary channel used as a guide.

Because of these close-to-natural internal and external anatomy particularities, hip and knee prostheses can be placed more similarly to the human body during hands-on courses or demonstrations, facilitating workshops and professional training.

FINALITY

Nacional Ossos’ new femur has an anatomy adapted to facilitate the execution of surgical techniques. This product can be used in demonstrations as well as in hands-on workshops for simple screws, plates, external fixators, and hip and knee prostheses placement.

To further facilitate the training of its customers, Nacional Ossos sells benches vise clamping. This provides a safer and more realistic training, enabling bone fixation and up to 360 degrees of motion.

In addition to the traditional bones, with its innovative and current process, Nacional Ossos also develops pieces with deformities that simulate bone pathologies. This type of product can be reproduced on a large scale, with the exactly same bone defect, which enables all students in the course to have the same opportunity to practice in a more precisely and standardized manner, a fact that is hard to come by using only natural bones.
