The International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT) is a scientific society founded in 1935. Over the years ISBT has grown into a truly international society where transfusion medicine professionals from over 100 countries come together to share knowledge to improve the safety of blood transfusion worldwide.

The 33rd Regional ISBT Congress was held on 17-21 June 2023 in Svenska Mässan. The event covers a wide range of topics in transfusion medicine, as well as seminars and special sessions.

As a well-known medical device manufacturer that has been deeply involved in the field of safe blood transfusion for 30 years, Nanjing Shuangwei Biotechnology has participated in it as always, exchanging and sharing the most cutting-edge technology of the global blood transfusion industry, market information, and industry trends, working together to improve the safety of blood transfusions worldwide.

Nanjing Shuangwei Biotechnology passed the Brazilian AVISA certification in 2019, successfully obtained MDSAP in 2022, and continuously improved the core competitiveness of the main business product: Leukocyte Reduction Filter for Blood under the EU CE certification, ISO13485, and ISO9001 systems. At this ISBT, we exhibited two new products of the company - the Semi-Automatic Blood Component Extractor and Blood Tube Stripper, which were favored by overseas customers.

The exhibition site was very lively. As the first time to go abroad to participate in the exhibition after the epidemic, everyone was very excited. We kept meeting old friends and meeting new ones. Although everyone has various online communication during the epidemic, it is far less than face-to-face communication. Face-to-face communication enables us to understand the needs of customers in a timely and intuitive manner. Especially in the medical industry, in-depth technical communication cannot be separated from face-to-face communication. I believe that everyone who came to our booth will feel our professionalism, enthusiasm, and friendliness.
