3D implantology by NSI
Simple and minimally invasive
What do patients generally fear when they go to the dentist? They fear pain.
And why do patients fear implants today? Because they fear that the dentist will “puncture the bone”, that they will suffer nerve injury or major tissue trauma, or simply that their body will reject the implant.
In most cases, such anxieties are unjustified, and inevitably cause anxiety in professionals as well, affecting their daily work as it can be a source of additional stress.
NSI aims to solve these issues.
In fact, today, NSI provides clinicians with an extremely simple, minimally invasive system that allows them to apply immediate load implants with guaranteed success.
The new NSI IMPLANT 3D guided implant software makes the implant planning service, which is aimed at inserting NSI products, extremely simple and effective.
A practical example: insertion of a 3.6x20 mm basal implant.
With a single 2 mm bur, you can create a bone tunnel perfectly positioned to correctly insert the implant, in a completely minimally invasive manner using a single bur.
In fact, implant planning will allow you to create the bone tunnel by using all cortical bones and the most interesting areas, thus safely avoiding anatomical limitations and risk areas.
Thanks to the special shape of the implant and thread profile, and by finding the best cortical support point even in the worst cases, you will be able to meet your patient’s needs when it comes to applying an immediate load fixed prosthesis.
There are numerous advantages: minimal invasiveness, precision, safety, and shorter intraoperative and post-operative recovery time.
This can be achieved thanks to special one-stage NSI implants requiring a dedicated single bur for insertion and, naturally, extremely simple 3D planning based on DICOM data - dental scan imported into NSI IMPLANT 3D.
This software was developed by NSI exclusively in collaboration with Medialab S.p.A., a well-established software company in the dental field, which has simplified the insertion of NSI implants, especially ONE PIECE one-stage implants, which can now be inserted more safely and easily.
NSI also offers an instructive training platform, with protocols and direct technical support for all dentists who would like to learn more about guided implantology, giving them the opportunity to plan each clinical case step by step until it becomes autonomous.
The result of NSI IMPLANT 3D planning will then be accepted by the doctor and password protected.
Related devices, such as a surgical stent, jaw cast, study model, and even provisional elements, will be sent directly to the doctor along with the related sterile implants, which will be available within 24 hours of project approval.
The aim of the 3D planning project is to facilitate and simplify clinical procedures for dentists while making sure that implants are atraumatic for patients, as well as solving the problem in a single session.
A distinctive feature of NSI and of its products is that all the work involved in making dental implants and the various services offered are carried out entirely in-house.
Therefore, today, NSI provides a turnkey service for 3D implantology consisting of three simple steps: CAT scan sending processing and discussion of the case with the clinician production and delivery of surgical stents, study models, and related dental implants dedicated to the clinical case.
With this system, doctors no longer need to keep materials in stock, but only the products required in each case.
The purpose of all this is to offer a comprehensive, customized service for doctors who will be able to provide their patients with a simple, quick, and practical solution so that getting an implant can be a serene experience.
