PAPENMEIER BRAILLEX EL 40c

BRAILLEX EL 40c combines efficiency and touchably elegant design. Enjoy the new Braille display BRAILLEX EL 40c. Connected to a notebook it will soon be a ‚must-have‘ for all users who are often on the move with their Braille display.

Ergonomic work

While reading, wrist strains are reduced because the device is no higher than 18 mm. Therefore, a relaxed reading position is guaranteed.

Comfortable one-handoperation

The patented Easy Access Bar ensures an intuitive, fast and safe operation. It is a long single lever (like a space bar) situated on the front side of the device, all along the Braille display, which can be moved in four directions. Thus, you navigate back and forth, up and down on the Braille display safely and easily from every place in a document without ever taking your fingers off the reading position.

Modular operating concept

Work with your new BRAILLEX EL 40c effectively after only a short period of practice. The modular operating concept

enables beginners like people who become blind in adult life to access the Braille display without any difficulties.

Experienced users and persons who have been blind since birth enjoy the additional functionalities in ‚advanced mode‘.

More productive work with double routing keys

Increase your working speed and frequently performed actions using the double routing keys integrated into each cell. The lower routing key activates cursor / mouse routing. Use the upper routing key to activate object-related context menus.

The new function ‚Easy-Quick-Access-Keys‘ enables the user to open individual programs or other applications with a single keystroke without activating the regular Windows start menu.

Safe and fast Braille reading

Profit from the high quality of Papenmeier Braille cells during your daily work and read documents precisely and quickly. Make your choice whether your BRAILLEX EL 40c should come with concave or flat cell caps.

For Braille learners, we recommend the concave cells formed to follow the curve of your fingertips.
