PHCbi introduces the New VIP SMART MDF-DU703VHE-PE ULT Freezer

Discover the PHCbi MDF-DU703VHE-PE VIP SMART Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer, designed to combine energy-efficient sample storage with advanced access control and reliable temperature performance. With a 729-litre capacity and a temperature range from -86°C to -40°C, the freezer provides secure storage for valuable laboratory samples while helping to reduce energy consumption and heat output.

Energy-saving Performance

The MDF-DU703VHE-PE is designed to reduce the operating costs associated with ultra-low temperature storage while maintaining reliable performance. The VIP SMART uses approximately 30% less energy compared with most existing models, with energy consumption of 5.4 kWh/day at -80°C and 4.4 kWh/day at -70°C. Natural refrigerants, inverter compressors and integrated electronics work together to balance temperature performance and energy management, resulting in lower energy consumption and reduced heat output.

Smart Performance

Inverter-driven compressors with SMART control provide excellent temperature uniformity. Under steady-state conditions, the compressors can operate at slower speeds, while proprietary control algorithms help maintain extremely tight temperature uniformity throughout the cabinet. This intelligent compressor management combines temperature stability with efficient operation to provide dependable storage conditions for valuable laboratory samples.

Security Control and Monitoring

The MDF-DU703VHE-PE provides controlled freezer access, allowing users to manage and monitor access to stored samples, identify who accessed the freezer and when, and monitor how long the freezer door remained open.

Four access-control methods are available: facial recognition (optional), keypad, proximity card/NFC (optional), and key. Password protection, optional facial recognition and optional NFC authentication can also be combined with an electric lock for enhanced freezer access control.

Intuitive Touchscreen Monitoring

An eye-level, door-mounted 10.1-inch high-resolution LCD touchscreen provides convenient access to freezer controls and performance information. Performance attributes can be viewed directly on the display, while internal temperature logs can be displayed graphically over time. A USB port enables logged data to be transferred conveniently to a PC.

Natural Refrigerants

Naturally occurring hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants have minimal effect on the environment. Combined with inverter technology, these refrigerants improve efficiency without compromising cooling performance, ambient tolerance or recovery speeds following door openings. Natural refrigerants, compressors and integrated electronics work together to lower operating costs through reduced energy consumption and heat output.

High-Capacity Sample Storage

With an internal volume of 729 litres, the MDF-DU703VHE-PE provides storage capacity for up to 576 2-inch boxes in its original configuration. The freezer features three shelves, with a maximum load of 50 kg per shelf. Rigid polyurethane foam insulation combined with Vacuum Insulation Panels supports efficient use of the available internal storage space.

Designed for Reliable Sample Protection

The MDF-DU703VHE-PE includes integrated alarm functionality to support day-to-day sample storage. Features include power failure, high-temperature, low-temperature, door-open and filter monitoring. Together with intelligent compressor control, access management and integrated monitoring, these features support secure and energy-efficient ultra-low temperature sample storage.
