The Dutch company PodoPrinterhas developed SOLE, a 3D printer for podiatrists and orthopedic shoemakers to produce customized and medical insoles. The easy-to-use system is based on FDM technology and uses a special foam filament and special CAD software for shoe insoles. According to the company, no prior knowledge of 3D printing is required.
