Using VR to Train Tens of Thousands of Surgeons at Once

The surgeon worked as usual, but everyone else in the OR wore headsets, and a six-lens camera suspended above the table created at 360° video. Such systems could lead to a revolution in surgical education. Ahmed hopes they will make it feasible to train many more surgeons, improving the lives of the five billion people around the world who today have no access to safe, affordable surgery.
