Bone-Holding Forceps

The bone-holding forceps were developed for surgical procedures on dogs.

The main design focus is on the locking mechanism, which may be operated with a single hand. The mechanism is based on friction and released by the index finger. A micro ratchet prevents triggering due to vibrations, for instance when a bone saw is used. To reduce the weight of the instrument, the main components are fashioned from a high-strength titanium alloy.

The design of the bone-holding forceps is perfectly geared to surgical procedures and meets high requirements with regard to functionality and ergonomics.
