The Lexa Sterilizer from A-dec uses patented, steam-condensing vacuum technology to deliver bone-dry loads every time, according to the company.

Its universal rack design lets personnel load cassettes in the 11-in diameter chamber vertically or horizontally, or mix cassettes and trays on the same rack, without the need for additional racks. Choose from six pre-set cycles to sterilize and dry up to 18 lbs of instruments in as little as 30 minutes. A single-use water system ensures that water is never reused. The closed-door drying cycle follows Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) best practices for dental sterilization. Optional accessories report the sterilization cycle data and automatically print barcode labels in compliance with CDC labeling requirements.
