audifon's new hearing aid, "saga R" receives "iF DESIGN AWARD 2015"

Modern hearing aids impress not only with their functionality but also their design - this has been proven once more through the award of a prestigious prize. The hearing aid manufacturer, audifon, can be suitably pleased with this achievement.

Its latest hearing aid, the "saga R", has won the "iF DESIGN AWARD 2015" in the category "Medicine / Healthcare" within the discipline "Product". The award ceremony is taking place on 27 February in Munich. This is already the second significant design award bestowed upon new audifon products in recent months. Only last summer, the Thuringia based company received a Red Dot Design Award for its fitting software, audifit 5. Elegant and harmonious – the award winning "saga R" from audifon.

The latest hearing aid from the audifon range is an example of the marriage of design and function in the smallest space. The aesthetic device has been tailored to the sensitive shape of the ear and creates its own harmony. Overall, the new "saga R" impresses through its performance as well as its lightness and elegance. The industrial design was created by gobrecht ID and realised in close collaboration with the production team at audifon.
