The system, based on Epson‘s Moverio technology, contributes to reinforce the common enthusiasm felt for devices similar to Google Glasses. Thanks to the glasses, wearers can visualize graphics and even see further with a pair of forward facing cameras for 3D imaging and illumination to brighten the scene.

Turning on the infrared and near-infrared frequencies allow to see perfectly the vasculature. No wearable imaging system can provide such clear, real time and accurate images to quickly visualize a patient’s vein, anywhere at the point of care.

Doctors and nurses are also offered the possibility to record the whole procedure for upload to a PACS/ EMR system.
