A Touch Activated Phlebotomy (TAP) system, TAP 20C™ aims to take the pain and anxiety out of blood sampling. The device is roughly the size of a stethoscope. It simply adheres to the skin and, with the push of a button, 16 microscopic needles collect up to 20 microliters of blood. The sample is then stored until use.
