Motorised CPM system for knee and hip joint mobilisation

Continuous, passive motion (CPM) therapy is normally recommended as first-stage exercise in the postoperative treatment of joints, either directly after surgery or in the first postoperative week.

Motorised CPM system for knee and hip joint mobilisation. The Artromot-K1 is a motorised CPM machine providing anatomically correct motion and is used to improve knee and hip joint kinetics following a wide variety of surgical interventions, including operatively treated fractures, total knee and total hip replacement, arthroscopy and arthrotomy procedures, anterior/posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, exercise-stable osteosynthesis, patellectomy, meniscectomy etc., as well as for joint mobilisation under narcosis. Different versions of this CPM system are available, from the standard model offering the basics of knee CPM therapy to the high-end ‘Comfort’ version. Both models are available with a patient chip card used to store patient-specific, pre-programmed parameters and therapy data.
