Case Study: cCRP Clinical Application

AmiShield x NPUST Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

Canine C-Reactive Protein (cCRP) is the acute phase protein in dogs’ blood. It is a highly sensitive and very useful marker for clinically assessing systemic inflammation and evaluating response to treatment because when systemic inflammation occurs, cCRP reaction is more rapid than leukocytes (WBCs).

If you're interested in this issue, the link below provides the case study conducted by Associate Professor Cheng-Shu Chung, Director of Small Animal Surgery, Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. The cCRP levels in cases of this publication are measured by AmiShield veterinary chemistry analyzer and the exclusive cCRP disc.
