HY10 and PUE 7.1 Indicators

Audit Trail is a new function of HY10 and PUE 7.1 indicators. Due to this function, weighing instruments operated via HY10 and PUE 7.1 indicators are compliant with CFR 21 Part 11. With Audit Trail option on, each modification introduced into weighing instrument's database is logged. The accuracy of saved data (date, start value, modified value, operator responsible for the modification) enables tracking all activities and undoing them if required.

In addition, the function enforces application of specific password format. Password-related requirements concern among many: minimum password length, necessity to use digits and capital letters, and obligation of periodical password change. The options may be enabled simultaneously or individually.

Audit Trail function is activated with a licence key. The license is unique for each weighing instrument. To activate Audit Trail enter: Settings\Misc.\Extensions modules\Audit trail. During the first activation the software asks for license key that can be either read from a USB flash drive or entered manually.

Audit Trail function will be available in mid-March 2018.
