A recent study by Tohoku University researchers evaluates the performance of the RaySafe 452 hybrid survey meter, designed to improve radiation measurement accuracy. Combining a semiconductor detector and a GM tube, it promises better precision and functionality. It was compared with an ion chamber survey meter of another brand to validate its effectiveness.
