Introducing RESPINOR DXT®: Diaphragm monitoring for smarter weaning decisions
The first non-invasive, continuous diaphragm monitor — now available for clinical use in Europe
RESPINOR DXT® is the first CE-marked solution that enables continuous, non-invasive monitoring of diaphragm function in mechanically ventilated ICU patients. Designed to support more confident weaning decisions, DXT provides automated, real-time measurements of diaphragm excursion (DE) — a validated physiological marker of extubation readiness.
With its patented sensor technology and user-friendly interface, DXT empowers ICU teams to assess diaphragm performance objectively and continuously at the bedside. The system fits seamlessly into standard ICU workflows, requiring minimal training and no imaging expertise.
RESPINOR DXT helps bridge the gap between clinical judgment and real-time data, addressing a critical unmet need in critical care: identifying the right moment to wean a patient from mechanical ventilation. By improving patient assessment and protocol adherence, DXT has the potential to reduce extubation failure, shorten ICU stays, and enhance patient outcomes.
