High-Performance: convincing appearance of smart optics at the Control with cross-industry 3D scanners

BOCHUM – at this year's Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance, smart optics presented itself for the first time to exhibition visitors in Stuttgart from the 26. to 29 April. The company's portfolio continues to expand, underlining the "single source" corporate philosophy, be it in dentistry, audiology or universal applications, there is something for everyone. There is also a good reason why the company invites visitors to test their products. The dental High-Performance Scanner Activity 888, the scanBox Pro as well as the dentProgress® CAD software, the Universal-Scanner Activity 710 and the audiology classic ds Production could all be scrutinized.

The numerous users and operators contribute to the expansion of the up-and-coming Bochum-based company and have made the internationally known scanners of the Activity range real bestsellers. Open 3D scanners and the dentProgress® CAD software have already been launched successfully by the company. Another highlight of smart optics includes OEM developments for 3D measurement.

For dental specialists: Activity 888

With an accuracy of 4µm, the High Performance-Scanner digitalizes even the most complicated implant work within the shortest of times. By adopting the proven modules of the Activity series, this ensures extremely easy further processing.

For dental newcomers and converts: scanBox Pro and dentProgress®

Using the scanBox Pro, up to 32 units can be designed simultaneously per patient case. The scanBox Pro is particularly suited for all those wanting to fabricate large order volumes for crowns and bridges. Extension modules are also available in addition to the basic functions of the dentProgress® CAD software.

For creative professionals: Activity 710

The Universal scanner is an all-rounder and scans objects up to a size of

80 x 80 x 80 mm. Further processing of the scans is highly convenient via reverse-engineering or CAD software.

For smart audiologists: ds Production for "good listening"

The 3D scanner for impression-taking of the auditory canal is especially suited for continuous use. Two impressions per scan can be performed extremely quickly and accurately.
