INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Step-by-step instructions for the preparation and application of SBL.PRP.3.
1 BLOOD COLLECTION
Extract 15 ml of blood from the patient using the sterile SBL.PRP.3 tubes. Thanks to the vacutainer, this blood volume (15 cc) will automatically enter the tube (vacuum filling system). Ensure aseptic techniques are followed throughout the process to avoid
contamination. Invert the SBL.PRP.3 tube up and down 5 times to mix the blood with the anticoagulant.
2 CENTRIFUGATION
Place the SBL.PRP.3 tubes in the centrifuge and process the blood at 3200 RPM for 6 minutes,
following the characteristics of the centrifuge. The thixotropic gel will ensure proper separation of blood components.
3 PLATELET RESUSPENSION
Once centrifugation is complete, it is recommended not to invert the tube for 2 minutes. Carefully resuspend the PRP by inverting the
SBL.PRP.3 tube, so it is ready for therapeutic application. The platelet concentrate is ready to be aspirated into a Luer Lock syringe using a transfer chamber.
4 PRP APPLICATION
Administer the PRP in the treatment area according to specific clinical indications. Use sterile injection equipment and follow the
manufacturer’s recommendations.
