SOMATEX® Medical Technologies GmbH Signs Distribution Agreement with Hologic for Tumark® Biopsy Site Markers

We have the pleasure to announce our new distribution partnership agreement with Hologic Inc., a leading provider of medical imaging systems, effective immediately. The agreement includes exclusive distribution rights in the United States for the product line of marking systems Tumark, including Tumark Vision, Professional X, Q and Flex markers, and applications devices.

The Intra-Uterine Shunt (IUS) is SOMATEX’s recent development in the area of prenatal therapy and the successor of the Intra-Uterine Drainage Set (IUDS). The drainage catheter is used for fetuses that suffer from obstructive urinary tract disorders, hydronephrosis or other fluid accumulations in the abdomen.
