A new lifting column

Update for our LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels

The lifting column is as essential in a chair as the spine is in a human. This is because it is the connecting piece between the frame of the triple chair and the seat. And thus represents one of the most important components of a chair. This is precisely why the lifting column on the LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels has now been further improved.
The lifting column plays an important role, especially when a chair is height-adjustable and electric. Because the weight of the user weighs on it day after day. Therefore, the height column must be extremely stable in order to be able to serve its purpose for many years.
What is particularly challenging is that it also plays an important role in electric height adjustment. Because it must be stable even in an elevated position and must not allow too much play. At the same time, however, it must also be compact enough to allow a lot of comfort for smaller users.
In other words, the lifting column is decisive for the safety, comfort and suitability for everyday use.
That's why the lifting column deserves a lot of attention in the constant further development of our chairs. With the high demands on the height column in mind, our prototypes have been subjected to practical tests again and again. The aim of these tests was not only to optimise our lifting column, but above all one thing: safety. Because with any technical innovation, our priority is to ensure that our chairs are safe in all conditions.
Only when the new lifting column convinced us in all respects did it go into series production. It is now installed as standard on our LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels.

How does the new lifting column improve our chairs?
Thanks to the new lifting column, our chairs have a practical electric height adjustment of 30 cm. This provides enough height for effortless transfers. The adjustable height is ideal for ergonomic work, whether at the workbench or desk. And the height range is also ideal for normal everyday activities such as sitting at the dining table.
A significant improvement is the increased load capacity of 135 kg. With this change, our chairs are also suitable for heavier users.
In addition, the new lifting column has a so-called soft-start & soft-stop technology. When the height of the chair is electrically adjusted, the movement begins and ends particularly gently. This protects the electrical system and extends the life of the battery pack.
