Introducing Airwave Oscillometry with the new tremoFlo™ C-100

Airwave Oscillometry™ is a novel method for measuring lung function without patient effort and the most advanced form of the Forced Oscillation Technique (FOT). The tremoFlo™ C-100, the world’s first Airwave Oscillometry System (AOS™), accurately measures lung function by superimposing a gentle multi-frequency airwave onto the patient’s respiratory airflow. Throughout the AOS measurement, the patient just breathes normally.

LUNG FUNCTION TESTING WHERE SPIROMETRY DOESN’T GO

Although Spirometry is one of the most widely used tests to diagnose lung disease, its limitations are well-known: Spirometry outcomes such as FEV1 and FVC are dependent on patient cooperation, often difficult to obtain in young children and the elderly, challenging in patients with a strong cough reflex and entirely impossible in unconscious patients. The tremoFlo C-100 AOS is a superb alternative for these situations.

AIRWAY RESISTANCE - FAST, EASY, PORTABLE.

Taking measurements with the tremoFlo is fast and easy: only a short period of quiet breathing is required to obtain a reliable measurement of airway resistance, a well-established quantity that clearly and directly reflects airway obstruction. The tremoFlo meets or exceeds all requirements contained in the ERS guidelines for FOT measurements and readily includes normal and percent-predicted values with all applicable measurement outcomes. Given its portable format, the tremoFlo allows you to quickly and effortlessly measure lung function in a wide range of patients and settings.
