What is an IVD?

IVD is a kind of medical device, which refers to products and services that obtain clinical diagnosis information by detecting human samples (blood, body fluids, tissues, etc.) through relevant instruments outside the human body, and then judge diseases or body functions. (1) Sample dosing and reagent distribution: These two links are to add samples and reagents to the analysis room with high precision. The flow and pressure parameters are not high, but the sampling system has the characteristics of high precision, long life, no pollution, and high reliability. Therefore, the requirements for the flow accuracy of the pump are very high.

(2) Pipeline cleaning: In this stage, the pipeline and needle need to be sterilized with a disinfectant, and then the residue is rinsed with dc water pump. Corrosive solvents are often used to flush the pipeline and needle, and the waste liquid containing crystals or blood clots needs to be discharged from the system in time. In order to ensure the cleaning effect, the dc water pump is required to have a certain degree of corrosion resistance and to be able to continuously output high-pressure and high-flow water.

(3) Waste liquid cleaning: This link is to clean and remove the waste liquid in the cuvette and pipeline. In this link, the diaphragm liquid pump is used to directly pump out the waste liquid, and this scheme can be simplified into a gas pipeline. It is also possible to use a micro vacuum pump to evacuate the airtight container to indirectly suck out the waste liquid in the instrument, which has high efficiency, and the waste liquid does not pass through the pump chamber, which improves the service life of the pump.
