Treatment methods for tricuspid valve are generally divided into three categories: replacement, ring contraction and TEER, each with its own characteristics. From a technical perspective, basically use one clip if possible. About half of the patients use one clip, and the regurgitation level can be reduced by two + or less. If the effect is not good, then use a second clip.

From the perspective of the thoroughness and effect of the operation, replacement is definitely more thorough, and the patient's regurgitation almost disappears. However, the K-Clip of tricuspid valvuloplasty has its own advantages and can be advanced or retreated. Sometimes when the tricuspid valve is sealed very tightly or closed very tightly, some patients with poor right heart function or pulmonary hypertension will instead develop right heart failure. So sometimes you will see a phenomenon that the tricuspid valve is opened openly during surgery, and it seems to have been repaired very beautifully, but when it is opened, there will still be regurgitation, indicating that tricuspid valve regurgitation may not only be a disease, but also a protection and buffer mechanism for heart function. As for the intervention effect, it should be evaluated in combination with imaging and clinical manifestations. The more severe the clinical symptoms of the patient, the more obvious the improvement after surgery. However, from the perspective of imaging, the reflux may drop from 6+ to 4+. It seems that there is still a lot of reflux, but in fact the reflux volume and reflux area have been significantly improved. For some other patients, such as 4+ reflux, the symptoms may not be obvious, and early intervention may be possible, which may have better long-term effects.

The tricuspid valve interventional vascular model includes the superior vena cava, the inferior vena cava and the entire right heart structure.
