NEW: X-ray examination chair by Wardray Premise

Following a request from Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, we designed and manufactured an x-ray chair, for the screening of scoliosis patients. This chair is now being successfully used in several hospitals across the UK.

The scoliosis chair incorporates a cassette slot under the seat to accommodate a 14” x 14” cassette.

The backrest is able to tip back slightly, has three belts and side rails attached allowing the fitting of a harness that can be moved up and down the rails to support the patient.

Two drop down armrests allow side way transfer of patients.

The seat can be raised and lowered between 500mm and 800mm by use of two hydraulic foot pedals.
