Panacea Survey Reports Measurable Improvements Across 23 Healthcare Organizations

Panacea, Zaavia’s blood bank management software, has recorded measurable improvements in blood bank operations across healthcare organizations. A recent survey of 23 healthcare organizations in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia found significant gains in blood-unit traceability, workflow efficiency, error reduction, and audit readiness.

The findings provide a clear measure of Panacea’s impact across different healthcare environments, including hospital networks, regional blood centers, diagnostic laboratories, and specialized transfusion facilities. The survey forms part of Zaavia’s ongoing effort to assess how its healthcare technology performs in real-world blood bank operations.

Traceability emerged as one of the strongest areas of improvement. Twenty of the 23 participating organizations reported more than 50% improvement in blood-unit traceability and tracking after implementing Panacea. The system supports blood banks across the full lifecycle of a blood unit, from donor registration and collection to testing, component preparation, inventory management, issuance, and transfusion tracking.

The survey also recorded improvements in daily workflows. All 23 organizations reported a positive impact on staff workflows and confidence, while 21 organizations rated Panacea as extremely helpful or very helpful in reducing human error. In addition, 20 organizations reported that Panacea made a strong contribution to compliance and audit readiness.

The results reflect Panacea’s growing adoption across healthcare institutions. The platform now operates at more than 80 locations, including healthcare organizations such as Saudi German Hospitals, Indus Hospital & Health Network, Al-Hammadi Hospital, and Ziauddin Hospital.
