Quick, clear identification of the order status for medication and medical consumables

Imagine a storage shelf labelling concept that enables you to see at a glance which products need to be reordered and for which products delivery is still pending. This would make work significantly easier and more efficient while eliminating duplicate orders. This is why ZARGES has enhanced its proven labelling system for KANBAN containers with a clip that uses three traffic light colours to display the status of the order: Red (new products must be ordered), yellow (products have been ordered, but delivery is still pending), green (sufficient amount of products available).

This ensures seamless supply and optimum control of the order status – all at a glance. The clip is pressed on to the ZARGES label holder. For example, if the minimum amount is undershot, simply sliding the clip to red will trigger the order process. If the goods have already been ordered, then the clip is set to yellow. “This simple and readily understandable system gives operators a clear overview during the ordering process,” underscores Erkan Soytürk, Product Manager at ZARGES Medical. In particular, the new system ensures businesses do not unnecessarily tie up capital by placing duplicate orders. The main advantage of the clip solution is the speed with which orders can be placed. Erkan Soytürk is certain: “We assume that this will reduce the time per order label from three to 1.5 seconds. With around 800 standard care products and 1,000 intensive-care products, this results in a time-savings that can surely be put to better use to benefit patients.” “We have designed our products to simplify daily workflows in clinics, hospitals and health care institutions,” says the Product Manager. The key to this solution is ensuring that all of the components are precisely coordinated and perfectly interlinked. ZARGES boasts a wide range of solutions for hospitals and nursing facilities that cover everything from storage to transport and organization all the way to supply and disposal. Using a modular system creates a platform for efficiency throughout the entire logistics chain. “Perfectly interlinked solutions help cut costs,” adds Product Manager Erkan Soytürk.

All of the products and innovations are featured in the 188-page medical catalogue that can be requested from ZARGES free of charge or downloaded at www.zarges-medical.com.
