SFRI Expands IVD Portfolio with New Low Throughput 30 t/h Haematology Analyzer HEMIX 3-30

“It was important for us to be able to cater to the smallest of laboratories on our market”, explains Christophe Brun, Haematology product manager. “We decided to take all the qualities of our 60 t/h 3-part diff haematology analyser and build a unit that would be more adapted to the needs of very small labs”, he explains.

“Essentially the HEMIX 3-30 has the exact same characteristics as its big brother the COUNTENDER 20+ model, but at a lower throughput to correspond to the testing capabilities of those labs,” he specifies.

“From a marketing point of view,” adds Naomi Ganase, communications officer for the company, “not only do we offer our end clients an extremely efficient instrument that answer their needs in terms of throughput, quality of results and low consumption of reagents, but we also simplify the lives of our local distributors, who won''t have multiple spare parts stocks to manager as we''ve made sure that all parts for the HEMIX 3-30 are identical to those of the COUNTENDER 20+. It saves unnecessary costs and investment, and in our eyes that''s a win.”

The HEMIX 3-30 will be launched at this year''s MEDICA 2014 exhibition.
