ACTiLED designs and manufactures night-lights for bedrooms and corridors in its Nantes workshop. Since the company was founded, manufacturing in France has been an integral part of its DNA. The LED nightlight is a wall-mounted light suitable for healthcare establishments and hospitals (hospitals, retirement homes, senior residences, etc.).

FROM ELECTRONIC AND MECHANICAL DESIGN TO SHIPMENT

The design of the ACTiNight nightlight begins in the R&D department and continues in the workshop. Each stage is scrupulously orchestrated with skill.

THE STEPS

- electronic and mechanical design by the Engineering Department

- preparation of all components required for the pilot light (source, diffuser, front panel, etc.)

- cable preparation and soldering (cutting, stripping, tinning). Immersed in a 350° tin bath, the impregnated wires facilitate the soldering operation.

- assembly of LED board, housing and parts

- finishing touches

- functional and lighting tests

- addition of accessories, packaging and shipping.

DEMANDING QUALITY CONTROL

At every stage of production, we ensure quality control. For example, the diffuser is examined under the light to ensure that it is free from dust, scratches or manufacturing defects. As for the front of the nightlight, a cleaning operation is carried out using a scalpel to remove any paint burrs or blisters.

ECO-DESIGNED HEALTH LIGHTING

With a view to limiting its carbon footprint, ACTiLED has designed its ACTiNight nightlights to minimize components. The company favors short supply chains for parts. Its LED technology ensures reduced energy consumption and a product that lasts over time.

The eco gesture: the adhesive scraps used for the aluminum profiles are reused to assemble the nightlight. At ACTiLED, nothing is thrown away.
