Stability tests on a grand scale: The new BINDER walk-in chambers

The new WIC series for applications in the pharmaceutical, food and cosmetics industry complements and expands the comprehensive range of BINDER climatic chambers.

Lack of space is a thing of the past - with the new walk-in climate chambers from BINDER, the solution for stability testing on a large scale is now available. Even the storage of large quantities is possible without any problems.

Just like the well-known constant climate chambers from BINDER, the walk-in chambers guarantee excellent and constant test conditions for long-term and accelerated stability tests.

In a wide temperature range of 10 °C to 50 °C and relative humidity range of 20 to 90 percent RH, perfect test conditions are maintained with a relative humidity accuracy of ± 2.5 percent and a temperature accuracy of ± 1.5 °C. The walk-in climate chambers thus meet the requirements according to the ICH Q1A (R2) and VICH GL3 guidelines as well as WHO climate zones I to IVb.

BINDER Walk-in-chambers are available in three sizes: with an internal area of 6, 9 or 12 square metres and a height of 2.30 metres, they are an excellent choice for accommodating large quantities or bulky packaging. The units feature high-quality room elements and LED lighting with motion detectors.

Their modular design and simple operation make them ideal for various applications. The interior is made entirely of stainless steel and is durable and corrosion resistant. Maintenance is possible from the outside, so that the climatic conditions inside the chamber are hardly disturbed.

Another important advantage is the use of an environmentally friendly refrigerant with GWP value 547.
