Introducing ZKAT. Your new accuracy aide for lower illumination slit lamp examinations
Our brand-new Goldmann Applanation Tonometer (GAT)
We're delighted to launch our brand-new analogue ZKAT, which completes our range of analogue GAT measurement devices (Z-Type, T-Type and R-Type), all of which are suitable for use with a wide variety of lower and tower-illumination slit lamps.
We know how important it is to capture accurate measurements of intraocular pressure, for the best possible diagnosis outcomes for your patients. Goldmann applanation tonometry is the trusted 'gold standard' for accurate IOP measurements and reliable glaucoma assessments, all around the world. And what's more... because it is fully mechanical, our new Z-KAT can be used and calibrated without the need for battery power.
All Keeler tonometers are British-made. They have been designed, precision-engineered and handmade at our UK manufacturing site in Windsor, where we've been manufacturing ophthalmic diagnostic equipment for over 100 years. But it isn't just GATs we offer. Our product portfolio also includes a range of Digital GAT and non-contact tonometers, to suit the needs of every clinic or practice.
Did you know? The first tonometer didn't arrive in our product portfolio until 1987, however by 1989 our Pulsair non-contact tonometer had won a British Design Award, as well as the highly prestigious Queen's Award for Technical Achievement. Expanding our product range in 2025 demonstrates our continued focus on the evolving needs of eyecare professionals globally, and our dedication to supporting those who bring an end to preventable vision loss.
