Harex® faces up to diapers to combat male urinary incontinence that affects 20% of men

The Spanish Mera Medical Solutions launches Harex® , the sustainable and hygienic medical device against urinary incontinence, on the European market .

Urinary incontinence is a common condition that affects 7% of the world population and, although it does not pose a health hazard, it has become a hygienic, social and psychological problem that influences the daily activity of those who suffer from it by reducing their quality of life.

In the specific case of men, the problem worsens, since from the age of 50 it affects 20% of them worldwide and in those over 65 it reaches 50%. It is usually a taboo subject that is difficult to disguise due to the characteristics of current market products designed to solve the problem.
