OSO-AI enters Denmark with the municipality of Vesthimmerland.
OSO-AI deploys its solution in Denmark, with the municipality of Vesthimmerland as a pilot project. An innovation serving caregivers, highlighted by the media Ingeniøren.
We are very proud to announce our first appearance in the Danish press, on the occasion of the official launch of OSO-AI in Denmark. This deployment marks a new milestone in our international development, with the municipality of Vesthimmerland as the pilot territory. In total, 40 devices have been installed across three sites, including nursing homes and disability care facilities.
Our solution is a discreet wall-mounted device that analyzes everyday sounds. Powered by artificial intelligence, it interprets these signals to recognize various situations (such as a fall, a call for help, or respiratory distress) and immediately sends an alert to the care staff. A single device can cover multiple rooms, which reduces the amount of hardware needed while providing a more human and tailored response to residents’ needs. Apart from the few seconds required to trigger an alert, the solution does not record sounds, thus preserving residents’ privacy.
This article, published in Ingeniøren, highlights the simplicity and relevance of our approach: listening to better protect. As the journalist explains, just a few seconds of sound are enough to understand if someone is struggling to breathe or in distress, and to intervene in the best possible way. For caregivers, this means being able to act faster while avoiding false alarms, thanks to a precise contextualization of sounds.
We warmly thank the municipality of Vesthimmerland for their trust, within the framework of the ACE project of Interreg North SEA.
Our sincere thanks also go to Marianne Fajstrup for this valuable coverage. Her article perfectly reflects the philosophy of OSO-AI: supporting healthcare and social care professionals with innovative tools that are respectful of privacy and simple to use.
