SUPERFLEX™
SUPER FLEXIBILITY TO SIMPLIFY YOUR PCR METHODS
Have you ever dreamed of streamlining your PCR procedures? This detection technology is fantastic, yet its application can be time-consuming for the bench techs.
Initially, PCR was performed in 0,5 ml tubes and later reduced to 200 uL. Tube strips of 8 and 12 wells were later introduced when 96 well block instruments entered the market. Quickly the full 96 well plates followed. However, quite often in daily lab life, the reality of the technique lies between 8 and 96 samples. Meaning that one must manipulate multiple strips of tubes unless they decide to cut a PCR plate, with scissors, like a kindergartener. The remaining wells are saved somewhere, never to be found again, or merely discarded, along with a few dollars.
Simport just introduced a new product, a huge step forward, in simplifying this widely used method. The Superflex™ PCR plate, designed to be dividable in multiples of 8-well strips. This way, the end-user can use a single strip to analyze 1 to 8 samples or any multiple of 8, up to using the entire plate of 96 wells.
This added flexibility also simplifies ordering. By buying this plate, you can stop purchasing individual strips altogether. This product fills both needs!
The Superflex™ name also refers to the delicate link between strips, enabling a perfect fit between the tube and the well, enhancing heat transfer, and maximizes yield and productivity. The same level of flexibility is also available in opaque white. When utilizing white PCR plastic in real-time applications, it provides an increased signal. Thus, increasing sensitivity and eliminating crosstalk. We also offer a cap mat of the same dividable design to complement this new product line. It is ultra-clear to accommodate real-time PCR applications.
Superflex™ PCR plates can be closed with various solutions; dividable cap mat, with our standard strip of caps, with a sealant film or heat-sealed for those who own such a device. Being an unskirted plate, it is compatible with essentially all PCR instruments.
PCR is close to black magic; so many things can go wrong and wreck your whole assay. Using a simplified and flexible tube/strip/plate product will add standardization to your methods while simplifying your life, putting the chances on your side of achieving better results.
