Meet Solis Hot Start HiFi DNA Polymerase Kit!
Versatile high-fidelity DNA polymerase for any PCR application requiring precision
Solis Hot Start HiFi DNA Polymerase Kit is a newly launched product by Solis BioDyne. The main component is a versatile high-fidelity DNA polymerase for any PCR application requiring precision, such as sequencing or cloning. The product has a superior performance with a variety of amplicons, can be used for long-range and challenging PCR, and has broad multiplexing capabilities.
Solis Hot Start HiFi DNA Polymerase is a modified polymerase with 3′→5′ exonuclease (proofreading) activity demonstrating enhanced fidelity of more than 100x compared to wild type Taq polymerase, measured using single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing. Chemical modification of the polymerase enables hot-start PCR that improves specificity and accuracy, minimizing mispriming and extension from non-specifically annealed primers and primer-dimers.
Suitable in applications requiring high-fidelity PCR, such as sequencing or cloning. Additionally, enhanced processivity allows for long-range amplification up to 12 kb from genomic DNA and 24 kb from Lambda DNA. Increased GC tolerance allows for robust amplification of challenging amplicons with GC content ranging between 30-79% when combined with the 10x GC-rich Enhancer. Superior multiplexing capabilities ensure uniform amplifications of a diverse range of amplicons.
Solis Hot Start HiFi DNA Polymerase is engineered to efficiently incorporate dUTPs and is well suited for amplification of bisulfite-treated (bisulfite sequencing) DNA, damaged DNA (e.g., FFPE samples) or for prevention of carryover contamination (when used with dUTPs and UNG).
Additionally, the Solis Hot Start HiFi Polymerase and the whole kit is room temperature stable for up to 1 month due to the use of Stability TAG - Solis BioDyne’s proprietary and patented polypeptide stabilization technology that is incorporated into the enzyme, enabling environmentally friendly ambient temperature shipping. Room temperature stability also enables maximum convenience allowing reactions to be set up without ice at room temperature.
