What is "medical-grade" plastic?

Medical-grade plastics help reduce HAIs and the spread of germs.

Medical-grade plastic has antimicrobial additives baked in that give it life-long antimicrobial properties. The plastic releases agents that makes it impossible for microbes to function, grow, or reproduce.

It's also designed to be cleaned and disinfected frequently, where as other plastics may degrade and eventually crack, due to overuse of cleaning chemicals.
