One of the best methods for early detection of cardiovascular diseases

Early detection of cardiovascular diseases.

Following the old, simple blood pressure measurements, the innovation of Arteriograph measurement system has been made designed on a new patented non-invasive pulse wave measurement method, that provides an opportunity to evaluate the elevated cardiovascular risks in accurate manner. Arteriograph allows multiple new parameters to be measured such as aortic pulse wave velocity (PWVao), central systolic (aortic) blood pressure (SBPao) and the so-called aortic augmentation index (AIXao) which together add greatly in diagnosing the elevated risk for cardiovascular diseases aiding the doctor in defining between differential therapies, thus providing a much better patient care. Hundreds of scientific studies have already shown that the PWVao (pulse wave velocity) is an excellent, accurate biomarker of arterial stiffness, and as such an independent predictor of morbidity and mortality. The innovative, non-invasive Arteriograph measuring system (from and by Tensiomed Ltd., Budapest) is able to easily and rapidly determine these parameters and detect the current status of the vascular system.
