Arteriograph has transformed the arterial stiffness measurement significantly

Transformation in the blood pressure measurement.

A blood pressure measurement is typically used for identifying the potential risk of cardiovascular diseases. Traditionally, obtaining an accurate blood pressure reading is crucial to determining the risk of heart disease and stroke. However, recent studies have demonstrated that besides blood pressure values, there are other parameters from the Arterial Stiffness Family that should also be considered to obtain a better understanding of a patient's condition. These parameters include

1-Pulse Wave Velocity,

2-Central Systolic Blood Pressure, and

3- Augmentation Index.

The Arteriograph is an oscillometric device that was invented based on this idea and is capable of measuring 15 hemodynamic parameters. It has become the successor to the regular blood pressure monitor and has saved numerous lives by providing preventative measures.
