Mitral valve regurgitation is one of the most common heart valve diseases. Due to congenital abnormalities or acquired lesions, the mitral valve cannot be completely closed when the left ventricle contracts, causing part of the blood flowing from the left atrium to flow back to the left atrium, causing a series of cardiac pathological changes and clinical symptoms, and even leading to heart failure. Compared with drug treatment and open-chest surgery, mitral valve intervention surgery has developed rapidly with its characteristics of less trauma, less pain, and faster recovery, becoming one of the most popular research directions in international cardiovascular intervention.

A customized heart mitral valve model independently developed by Trando 3D. It is customized by 1:1 restoration of real human CT/MRI data, and can be customized for a variety of heart diseases according to needs. The model material is mainly transparent silicone, and the hardness of silicone can be flexibly adjusted according to specific needs. The minimum thickness of the blood vessel wall can reach 1mm, which can simulate the opening and closing of real human heart valves. In order to facilitate testing, the company is also equipped with simulated blood and multi-specification human heart blood flow pulsating pumps to accurately restore the beating effect of the human heart and support the testing of various devices such as mitral valve repair devices/replacements.

The heart flow pulsating pump has the function of real-time synchronous acquisition, display and storage of blood flow parameters such as pressure and flow. A new idea of using silicone materials to design key characteristic components such as valves, arteries, and ventricles in the experimental platform is proposed to facilitate the experiment and obtain valuable experimental data. The organic combination of the pulsating pump and the model can effectively help the research and development testing of mitral valve repair/replacement devices before they are put on the market.
