What is DSA cerebral angiography?

Model:neurointerventional vascular model

Cerebral angiography is a method of diagnosing cerebrovascular diseases by injecting iodine-containing contrast agents into blood vessels through catheters to visualize cerebral blood vessels, and by using DSA machines to quickly and continuously take pictures and process pictures to clearly display the morphology of cerebral blood vessels. It is the most advanced modern cerebrovascular diagnosis and treatment method and the gold standard for diagnosing cerebrovascular diseases. Cerebral angiography can not only show the morphological changes of the blood vessels themselves, such as dilatation, malformation, spasm, stenosis, vascular occlusion, bleeding, etc., but also determine whether there is a space-occupying space based on the changes in the position of the blood vessels. Therefore, it has special significance for diagnosing the lesions of the intracranial blood vessels themselves, and can be said to be the "gold standard" for diagnosing cerebrovascular diseases. Cerebral angiography can clearly determine whether it is an intracranial aneurysm or a vascular malformation. At the same time, it can also determine the location, size, and number of aneurysms, or the location, shape, blood supply, and collateral circulation of vascular malformations, and timely treatment can be given if problems are found.

The neurointerventional vascular model independently developed and designed by Trando 3D is a three-dimensional spatial structure. This high-end model contains cerebral arteries such as the anterior and posterior middle cerebral arteries, basilar artery, and Willis circle, as well as left and right vertebral arteries, left and right common carotid arteries, carotid artery, subclavian artery, aorta, abdominal aorta, iliac artery and femoral artery.

The applications of the model as follows:

1.Simulating interventional treatment for cerebral arteriovenous fistula lesion, aneurysm tamponade, and cerebral angiography.

2.Applicable for development, testing, and validation of neurointerventional devices, including catheters, guidewires, microcatheters, micro guidewires, etc.

3.Applicable for demonstrations, training, and marketing of neurointerventional devices.
