What are the symptoms of patients with neck hemangioma?

Model:Carotid Artery Model

Neck hemangioma will have symptoms such as local fluctuating masses, vascular murmurs, and thickening of the neck.

Neck hemangioma refers to a benign vascular lesion formed after local swelling of the neck blood vessels, which is more common in abnormal development of neck blood vessels, neck blood vessel damage or neck blood vessel inflammation damage. When a patient has a neck hemangioma, the patient may experience the following symptoms:

First, a fluctuating mass in the neck. Since the neck hemangioma is a local protrusion of the neck hemangioma, on the one hand, a local mass will be formed; on the other hand, with the fluctuation of the blood vessels, the neck blood vessel mass will also fluctuate, and the frequency of fluctuation is related to the heartbeat;

Second, vascular murmurs, due to the presence of hemangioma, local hemodynamics are abnormal, and local blood flow abnormalities may cause local vascular murmurs;

Third, thickening of the neck. If the neck hemangioma is relatively large, the neck blood vessels may thicken due to the space-occupying effect of the hemangioma. When the patient has the above symptoms, the possibility of neck hemangioma needs to be considered, and a clear diagnosis can be made through neck color Doppler ultrasound and physical examination. Small neck hemangiomas can be observed. When the neck hemangioma is significantly enlarged or the neck hemangioma is large, surgical treatment is required.

This model is a carotid artery model, including a saccular aneurysm. By connecting the plate-piercing connector, the model is fixed in the middle of a transparent acrylic box for spatial positioning. It can be used for interventional exercises such as aneurysm embolization.
