Hospitals in the Mont Blanc Region opt for NatéoSanté
Opinion of a Hygienist Pharmacist on NatéoSanté air purifiers
In the fight against nosocomial infections and the protection of patients and healthcare professionals, hospitals in the Mont Blanc region of Haute-Savoie have chosen to equip their facilities with NatéoSanté air purifiers. This decision, motivated by performance and safety criteria, was advocated by hygienist pharmacist and head of the hospital's operational hygiene team, Julie Racaud.
"The first air purifiers were installed in the continuous care unit during the peak of COVID," she explains. "It’s important to know that this unit was divided into two parts: one part accommodating COVID patients and another part non-COVID. So the goal was to protect patients and professionals. We installed the first purifier in the COVID unit. Then, we installed a second purifier in our laboratory in a room where, among other things, COVID screening samples are collected. And recently, we installed these purifiers in the neonatology department. In neonatology, we care for premature babies who are more susceptible to infections, and these purifiers help improve air quality and protect these types of patients."
This testimony highlights the benefits of installing air purifiers in healthcare facilities. NatéoSanté purifiers, suitable for medical environments, protect the most vulnerable and ensure good working conditions for healthcare professionals.
